Following recent criticism over Labour’s decision to freeze the repayment threshold for some borrowers, UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves said the student loans system was "fair and reasonable”.
On Question Time The New Statesman’s Oli Dugmore argued that the levels of interest and changes to repayment thresholds meant the loans were mis-sold.
