Almost one in 10 children having to work due to global cost-of-living crisis – BBC News

Around the world, the UN says that almost 1 in 10 children are having to work as a result of economic hardship – and in poorer countries the figure is nearer one in five.

Child labour, according to Unicef, has devastating and sometimes deadly consequences.
