The actress Amber Heard has told a court she was slapped "again and again" by Johnny Depp, as she tearfully described alleged assaults that had “changed her life”.
Ms Heard has taken the stand to give evidence in the defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Mr Depp sued Ms Heard for 50 million dollars for libel over a 2018 article she wrote in The Washington Post, which his lawyers say falsely implies he physically and sexually abused her while they were together.
He told the court he has never hit a woman.
Amber Heard is counter-suing Mr Depp for 100 million dollars.
