Are planes crashing more often? | BBC News


After a series of high-profile disasters, some people are starting to feel that air travel accidents are becoming more frequent.

And concerns over planes manufactured by Boeing saw a collapse in the company’s share price. But is there anything behind the fear?

BBC Verify has analysed data in the US and worldwide over the past two decades to analyse the general trend in air incidents.
