The parents of some girls who survived the 2024 Southport attack say their children are being forgotten and given insufficient support, as a result of the anonymity given to them by the courts.
They have spoken to the BBC about the bravery of their daughters, and told us that keeping the girls’ names private was vital to protect them – but say it has also rendered them invisible, and struggling to access the help they need as they continue their recovery.
