Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh say they are cut off due to Azerbaijan blockade – BBC News

Armenians living inside the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region say they have been cut off from the outside world and are running out of essential supplies, as the only road in has been blockaded for nearly a month.

Azerbaijan has long complained that the road is being used by Armenia to bring in military equipment.

The two countries fought a war in 2020 over Nagorno-Karabakh. Since then, a Russian peacekeeping force has been deployed there.
