At least 31 people are believed to have died after a former police officer opened fire at a childcare centre in Thailand, police say.
The attack took place in the Nong Bua Lamphu area in the north-east of the country. A motive for the incident is sill unclear.
The gunman was later found dead according to local media reports.
Mass shootings in Thailand are rare. In 2020 a soldier killed 21 people and injured dozens more in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima.
