Berrettini-Sinner trascinano Italia in semifinale di Davis

MALAGA (SPAGNA) (ITALPRESS) – Un doppio inedito trascina l’Italia in semifinale a Malaga. Una coppia strepitosa, quella formata da Matteo Berrettini e Jannik Sinner, ha battuto in due set, 6-4 7-5, Maximo Gonzalez e Andres Molteni, nel doppio decisivo tra Italia e Argentina del quarto di finale di Coppa Davis in corso sul veloce del “Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena” di Malaga. L’Italia batte, così, l’Argentina 2-1 e approda in semifinale dove affronterà l’Australia. Prima, infatti, Jannik Sinner aveva sconfitto 6-2 6-1, in un’ora e 12 minuti, Sebastian Baez, mentre nel primo singolare Lorenzo Musetti era stato
battuto dall’argentino Francisco Cerundolo.
