US President Joe Biden has attacked Donald Trump for his "web of lies" one year after the US Capitol riot.
Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington DC on 6 January 2021 as Congress was meeting to certify Mr Biden’s presidential election victory.
"Here’s the truth: the former president has created a web of lies about the 2020 election," Biden said as lawmakers held events to mark the anniversary.
He called out Trump for valuing "power over principle" and putting "his bruised ego" over the US Constitution.
