From rein sensors to biometric jackets, a wave of new technology is hoping to make horse riding more accessible for beginners.

A team of equestrians at Scotland’s Rural College have embraced devices that measure everything from rein pressure to rider balance, with the aim of making the sport easier for horses and riders.
