China earthquake: Hundreds stranded or missing after 6.8 magnitude quake – BBC News

Rescue teams have been deployed in southwestern China after an earthquake left hundreds of people stranded or missing.

At least 66 people are known to have died since the 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Sichuan province.

Millions of people in the region were already dealing with a Covid-related lockdown when the quake hit.
