Chinese astronauts complete first in orbit transfer to China’s space station – BBC News


Chinese astronauts have completed China’s first in orbit transfer of crew aboard the Tiangong space station.

Known as Taikonauts, the transfer marks a historic moment for China’s as it looks to establish itself as a serious contender for space exploration.

Tiangong will be the second permanently inhabited outpost in orbit, following the Nasa led International Space Station.
