World leaders are addressing the COP27 UN climate change summit as it begins in Egypt.
More than 120 world leaders are set to arrive at the summit in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
This will kick off two weeks of negotiations between countries on climate action.
The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, has told delegates that the planet is "sending a distress signal" and that the summit needed to produce ambitious, credible climate actions.
