Coronation: Princess Anne rejects calls for a ‘slimmed down’ monarchy – BBC News

With just a few days to go until the coronation of King Charles III, his sister, Princess Anne, has spoken about her brother and the role of the Royal Family in today’s society.

The Princess Royal said the King was "committed" to public service and would “remain true”.

She also said the monarchy helps provide “long-term stability” and that a slimmed-down monarchy “doesn’t sound like a good idea”.
