Covid-19: ‘Don’t rule out lab leak’, says former Chinese scientist – BBC News


The possibility of the Covid-19 virus leaked from a laboratory should not be ruled out, according to Prof George Gao.

The former top Chinese government scientist played a key role in the pandemic response and efforts to trace its origins.

However, many other scientists believe the virus passed naturally from animal to humans.
