Covid frontline: intensive care units under huge pressure at peak of second wave – BBC News

There are more people being treated for Covid in hospitals throughout the UK, than at any earlier point in the pandemic.

There is extreme pressure on the NHS with 10 hospital trusts in England reporting a lack of intensive care capacity.

London and south-east England has seen some of the most pressure on hospitals.
