Crypto boss Sam Bankman-Fried, who was convicted of fraud and money laundering last year, will be sentenced in New York on Thursday.
The former billionaire CEO faces decades in prison for fraud and conspiracy charges stemming from his role in the massive collapse of cryptocurrency exchange, FTX.
Prosecutors have said Bankman-Fried took more than $10bn (£7.9bn) from unsuspecting customers in "one of the biggest financial frauds" in US history.
