Cryptocurrency hardware wallets, explained – BBC News


It’s estimated that 400m people around the world hold cryptocurrency, but that only 8M are securing their coins offline.
 
Experts say the safest way to protect your crypto is with a physical device called a hardware wallet.
 
But what is a hardware wallet and how do they work?
 
The BBC’s Cyber Correspondent, Joe Tidy explains.
