Death toll rises after petrol station explosion in Republic of Ireland – BBC News


An investigation is underway after a petrol station explosion in the Republic of Ireland.

Ten people are confirmed to have died in the blast.

Two teenagers and a child were among those killed in County Donegal, police have said.

The incident took place in the small village of Creeslough, a community of around 400 people which is said to have been hit with "a tsunami of grief".

Eight people have also been taken to hospital following the explosion.
