Sheku Bayoh died after being restrained by police officers in Fife in 2015.

A public inquiry is underway to establish exactly how the 31-year-old black man died.

In a landmark first for Scotland, the inquiry is also setting out to discover if the police’s handling of the incident was affected by Bayoh’s race.
