Annie Mac, one of Radio 1’s most popular DJ’s has left her job presenting at the BBC after 17 years.

The author and podcaster knows how put on a great dance party and has introduced Radio 1 listeners to music and and conversation that has been especially valued during the pandemic.

Speaking to Newsnight’s Kirsty Wark, the DJ spoke about her career, the future of the nightclubs and women working in the the industry.
