Donald Trump is in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention, two days after he survived an assassination attempt.
Trump swept a majority of votes from national convention delegates and named JD Vance, the senator of Ohio, to be his running mate and vice-president if he returns to the White House.
After receiving the votes of enough delegates to clinch the nomination, the former president will lead the GOP in a third consecutive election.
