Former US President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to historic charges of mishandling sensitive files at a federal court in Miami, Florida.
Mr Trump been charged with 37 counts of unauthorised possession of classified material, obstruction of justice, concealing documents and making false statements to law enforcement.
More than 325 classified files – including some marked with Secret and Top Secret designations – were discovered over the course of last year at Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Mr Trump is the first US president – current or former – to be hit with a federal criminal indictment.
