Former North Korean soldiers have given their insight on the condition of thousands of troops deployed to the frontline in Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Washington and Kyiv say the soldiers have now entered the fight "in significant numbers" and Seoul says more than a 100 had already been injured or killed.
However, defectors and other military experts have told the BBC these troops should not be underestimated.
