Justice Juan Merchan cleared the court and reprimanded a witness in a dramatic moment at Donald Trump’s hush-money trial in New York.

Michael Cohen, Mr Trump’s former fixer, finished four days of testimony.

Cohen has testified that Trump approved a plan to reimburse him for $130,000 paid to Stormy Daniels, a porn star who claims she and Trump had sex.

Trump denies falsifying business records to cover up the payment, and denies any sexual encounter with Daniels.
