Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max crash victims seek unlawful killing verdict – BBC News

An inquest is taking place into the deaths of three British passengers aboard Ethiopian Airlines flight 302.

Sam Pegram, Joanna Toole and Oliver Vick were aboard the Boeing 737 Max when it crashed minutes after takeoff from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa in 2019.

Boeing has since admitted responsibility after a software malfunction caused the plane to crash, but a $2.5bn deal with the US government saw Boeing avoid any prosecution.

Families of the three Britons onboard are now seeking an unlawful killing verdict at an inquest.
