Nearly 2,500 children died of malnutrition in Ethiopia’s Tigray region last year, the BBC has found.
The Ethiopian government has been at war with Tigrayan forces since 2020.
Aid agencies say that has led to “a catastrophic humanitarian situation", with thousands of people killed and over two million displaced.
New satellite images taken of the region show cities in the area fading to black over 20 months, as electricity supplies are shut down.
