No foreign nationals, dual nationals or injured patients have crossed over into Egypt from Gaza so far today.
It is understood that crossing authorities are not permitting foreign passport holders from crossing the border, until the injured people in Gaza’s hospitals are allowed to travel through the Rafah border.
Hundreds of foreign nationals have already crossed the border at Rafah this week, and hundreds more have gone to the border today, but the gate has not yet opened.
But, while the US is pushing for a ceasefire, Israel says it will not entertain a temporary truce until all hostages are released.
