The families of Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza have said the plan by the UK and other European countries to recognise a Palestinian state "validates terrorism".
On Tuesday Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer announced the UK would take the step in September unless Israel met certain conditions including agreeing a ceasefire and reviving the prospect of a two-state solution.
In the last 24 hours, more than 100 people have been killed in Gaza and seven more have died from malnutrition, the Hamas-run health ministry reported.
The UN has said at least 500 trucks of aid a day are needed in Gaza. On Tuesday only 115 were let in.
