Leaders of developing and geographically vulnerable countries are concerned a deal for financial support from the COP27 climate conference could collapse.
Talks for a fund for countries worst affected by climate change events such as flooding was expected to have been agreed by the end of the conference.
However, no agreement has yet been done with Christian Aid claiming the US has been one of the biggest countries pushing back on plans put forward.
Hopes are the conference will now be extended past Friday to get a deal agreed.
