MELBOURNE (AUSTRALIA) (ITALPRESS) – La Ferrari di Charles Leclerc ha chiuso davanti a tutti la seconda sessione di prove libere del Gp d’Australia, terza gara della stagione 2024 di Formula 1. Sul circuito di Melbourne il monegasco ha terminato al comando la prima giornata con il tempo di 1’17″277, terzo tempo per l’altra Rossa di Carlos Sainz (+0″430). Tra i due si è piazzato il campione del mondo Max Verstappen (+0″381), mentre l’altra Red Bull di Sergio Perez ha terminato con l’ottavo tempo (+0″813). Quarto e quinto crono per le due Aston Martin di Lance Stroll (+ 0″545) e Fernando Alonso (+0″635), sesta la Mercedes di George Russell (+ 0″674), seguita dalla McLaren di Oscar Piastri (+0″800). Chiudono la top ten Lando Norris (+0″878) e Yuki Tsunoda (+0″911). Nella prima sessione, disputata nella notte italiana, miglior tempo per Norris (1’18″564) davanti a Verstappen (+0″018) e Russell (+0″033). Quarto Leclerc (+0″035) e ottavo Sainz (+0″122).
