Former Afghanistan president: ‘I would call the Taliban our brothers’ – BBC News


The former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, says the Taliban are his brothers.

Speaking to the BBC, he said that he and the Taliban have agreed that women and girls should be able to return to education and work.
