US journalist Megyn Kelly has publicly expressed support for presenter Piers Morgan, after he quit his role as host of Good Morning Britain following his comments on Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
She told BBC News, “We are cracking down on free speech in a way that I find really alarming.”
Morgan sparked over 41,000 complaints to media regulator Ofcom after saying he “didn’t believe a word” of Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she discussed suicidal thoughts.
