Thousands have marched in Iran for the final day of funeral rites for President Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash.
Raisi, 63, died alongside his foreign minister and six others when their helicopter crashed in the country’s mountainous northwest while returning from a dam inauguration.
Raisi’s coffin was flown to Mashhad in northeast Iran after a funeral procession was held for him in the eastern city of Birjand.
Despite huge crowds, not all Iranians supported the president and many celebrated his death on social media.
