Gaza University protests: ‘There is no right to cause chaos’, says US President | BBC News

President Joe Biden has addressed the Pro-Palestinian protests that are continuing at universities across the US, saying students have the right to protest but not "cause chaos”.

Dozens of college campuses across the US have been taken over by students protesting against the war in Gaza, demanding institutions boycott companies and individuals with ties to Israel.

More than a thousand demonstrators have been arrested, as universities struggle to deal with encampments, days before graduation ceremonies.

Meanwhile, national politicians have called on colleges to do more, highlighting reports of antisemitism at some of these protests.
