Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, both died of natural causes, coroners have said.
Hackman’s cause of death has been ruled as heart disease, with advanced Alzheimer’s disease contributing to his death.
Arakawa, 65, died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome – a disease carried by infected rodents.
Authorities said she likely died days before her 95-year-old husband, and it’s possible he was not aware because of his Alzheimer’s.
