A German spy chief has told the BBC that the far-right Alternative für Deutschland party poses a risk to democracy.
The AfD rejects accusations of extremism, but the BBC has found clear links between significant party members and former neo-Nazi networks.
The party is currently second in the opinion polls, ahead of regional and European elections.
