Halima Aden made history when she became the world’s first hijab-wearing supermodel and went on to feature in campaigns for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry.
But over time, she felt the industry was clashing with her Muslim faith and in November 2020, she announced on Instagram that she was quitting.
