Warning: Discussions of mental health.

Ninja Theory’s Melina Juergens has told BBC Newsbeat how her own mental health experiences helped her connect with her character in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.

Melina adopts the role of Senua, a woman living with psychosis as she manages her mental illness and the stigma that separates her from her community.

Melina also talks about the painstaking detail that went into props and costumes, including Senua’s own clothing.
