How a US town’s river bordering Mexico has become highly politicised – BBC Newsnight


A US town’s border with Mexico has become highly politicised as different measures have been used to try and prevent migrant crossings.

The dangerous Rio Grande River has seen thousands of migrants attempt to get across it to reach Eagle Pass in Texas.

BBC Newsnight’s David Grossman has followed their journey and spoken to locals in Eagle Pass about how the community feels about the crossings.
