As Iran and Israel carry out strikes on each other, civilians in Iran are being urged to seek shelter, with the Iranian government using mosques, metro stations, schools and other buildings.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called on all Iranians to "stand together, persevere, and confront the criminal aggression to which Iran is subjected".
