How climate change is affecting Pakistan’s mango production – BBC News

Pakistan is suffering from a mango crop shortage with farmers and experts worried, blaming climate change for the smaller yields.

The country usually ships 150,000 tonnes of mangos to 35 countries across the world, but harsh heat temperatures and water running short, its only expected to harvest half of what it usually produces.

Pakistan is ranked within the top 10 countries most likely to be impacted by climate change.
