How clubfoot treatment is transforming Senegalese children’s lives – BBC News

About one in 800 people around the world are born with clubfoot, and fewer than 20% of cases are receiving treatment at birth in Senegal.

The country has been a relatively late adopter of Ponseti – a pioneering method of correcting clubfoot – compared with some other African countries.
