Prime Minister Keir Starmer has confirmed the UK is working with its allies on a "viable plan" to restore freedom of navigation to the Strait of Hormuz.
It comes after US President Donald Trump asked countries, including Britain, to send ships to the area to keep the Strait "open and safe".
