How science could help sue big polluters | BBC News


Wildfires, hurricanes and floods have caused devastation around the world in recent years – destroying homes and communities, as well as costing lives.

Now, a branch of climate science known as attribution studies is helping researchers answer the question: does human‑induced climate change make an extreme weather event more likely or more intense?
