Streaming giant Spotify has no immediate plans to completely ban AI created content on its platform, its boss said.
But, despite a track featuring AI-cloned voices of Drake and The Weeknd was pulled from the platform earlier this year, Daniel Ek said there are valid uses of the tech in making music.
Spotify has also invested heavily into podcasts in recent years, and Mr Ek has admitted that “some of it has worked, some of it hasn’t”.
