How will the Beijing Winter Olympics Covid bubbles work? – BBC News


The Winter Olympics start in Beijing on 4 February.

With athletes arriving from around the world and the global risk of Covid the Chinese authorities are creating special bubble areas to keep athletes separate from the local population.

The bubbles include the athlete village and venues where the competition will take place as well as special trains, hotels and even car lanes.
