Hurricane Hilary: US Navy pulls ships out of San Diego as California braces for storm – BBC News

The US Navy has pulled its ships out of San Diego as the city braces for the arrival of Hurricane Hilary.

The storm has already battered areas of Baja California and Mexico and is expected to head deep into the US states of California, Arizona and even Nevada over the next 48 hours.

Hilary has already weakened since making landfall in Mexico on Saturday, but warnings are still in place for potentially life threatening flooding.
