More than one million people in Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes as Israel has intensified its attacks on the country in its campaign against the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah.
With one in five people in the country now displaced, shelters are overwhelmed and many families have ended up sleeping in cars or tents. Among them are children, the elderly and pregnant women.
The BBC’s Middle East correspondent Hugo Bachega spends the day with some of those displaced by this war in Beirut.
