International aid agencies partially resume work in Afghanistan after Taliban assurances – BBC News

The International Rescue Committee and CARE are two of those that have resumed programmes in health and nutrition.

The Taliban had banned women from working for non-governmental organisations and said female staff had broken dress codes by not wearing hijabs.
